Information we collect
When you send a housing brief, we may collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your preferred move-in date, stay length, bedroom requirements, budget, preferred city and area or work location.
- Any additional information you choose to include with your housing request.
- Technical information needed to operate and protect the website.
- Referral and campaign information, such as the page that referred you, the landing page and campaign tags included in a link.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, understand your housing requirements, source and discuss suitable options, coordinate requested services, protect the website and meet applicable legal obligations.
How information is shared
We use Salesforce to manage housing enquiries and Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam. Enquiry details are stored in Salesforce. Where available, a Google advertising click identifier is stored with the enquiry and may be used to report qualified leads and completed deals to Google Ads. We do not include housing requirements in those advertising conversion reports.
Information may be handled by service providers that support form delivery, email, website hosting and other business operations. We may also share relevant requirements with housing providers when needed to source an option for you. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep enquiry and service information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide requested support, maintain business records and meet applicable legal requirements.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Email info@shl-housing.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Browser storage and cookies
We also measure when a visitor first starts completing the housing form, separately from a submitted request. This event does not send the contents of the form fields to Google. Temporary session storage limits repeat counting within 30 minutes.
The website uses the Google Ads tag to measure whether advertising visits result in a submitted housing request. Google may process device, browser, referral and advertising-click information and may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement. We also use temporary session storage to remember the first referral or campaign source and to prevent a direct visit to the confirmation page from being counted as a submitted request. Authorized administrator pages may use essential browser storage to keep secure login sessions working. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and may review Google's privacy information for further details.
Security and updates
We use reasonable organizational and technical measures intended to protect information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. We may update this notice when the website, service or legal requirements change and will publish the revised date on this page.
